Natural Powder Riding

If this snow keeps up we might have to order one of these Gentem Stick special edition boards. The Rocket Fish as it is called has a full bamboo core and is claiming the world's largest nose at 344mm. Combine this with a 145cm length and a fish tail you have one very fun powder board.

Unlike other snowboards this board is made entirely from bamboo including the sidewalls. Therefore requires a little extra attention such as wiping off the moisture, not putting it in direct sun and make sure it is kept in a dry well ventilated place.

Hailing from Japan the guys at Gentem Stick must know how to construct a powder board. Check out their website to see some very interesting board shapes and designs all based on the powder riding theory.

Don't You Dare Call It A Comeback

One of SITW's all time favorite riders who gave it all away Scotty Wittlake is starting to re surface. He has always had his name floating around the Holden site and now his name is up on the new Comune site under snow team. Hopefully this is all a precursor to a rumored Videograss part. We can only hope.

Uninc The Muvie

Jim over at Yes has posted up the teaser for the never released Uninc movie. Imagine what could be sitting in that DVD collection you have if this movie had been made.

Tweak That Shaka Chilly

Room With A View

We have all done it and at the time it seems like a great idea, and that is to sleep in the car on a shred trip. We give props to the 3 guys in this car (yes 3 guys have squeezed in there) as not only did they save on accommodation cost they got one of the best views Jindabyne has to offer.

Hopefully by now the feeling has returned to their legs after the always cold and painful sleep vehicle accommodation has to offer.

From our experience a couple of drinks can help mold your body into that awkward sleeping position.
